I'm using EPOXY L285 with h285 hardener..... This is used in air industry... It is light and have perfect bound... With this hardener i also have good time frame with room temperatures for work.

yes ... absolutely ... mostly i clean rubbers only with water ... this way with foam i clean rubber only once in a week

definitely not ... red one is Tg3-60 mid ... but i can not recall what was the black one .. mostly there was TG2 ... or something with blue sponge .. but this white one ..hmmm.. i could not remember... sorry
hi robert, thank you for sharing. very inspiring. I plan to make 7 ply wood, with 3 mm balsa wood as core and 6 ply 0.5 mm veneers. I have a few questions 1. Are the veneers should be applied in a cross direction or one direction? (because I have seen in other channels about bad experiences, the ply wood become curved and not straight). 2. Is the use of epoxy glue required in the core or enough use wood glue? (in this case i use only wood materials? 3. Is being pressed using an metal plate is mandatory? please advise and response. thank you
Hi ... thanks .. 1 always in cross directions (but sometimes not .. this depends on the whole blade construction) 2 Wood glue is better for only wood blade ... epoxy is adding stiffness and is needed for composition blades. 3 Is better to use thick metal plates to achieve plain surface ... if you want to use wood plates then use only thick hard wood and spread the force evenly so you don`t have "craters" in some areas

oil will kill rubber and water will kill rubber and dish soap will also kill rubber. Id rather buy new this will destroy your rubber for shure. Dont fall for this bullshit.

Yes i`m lacquering the blades , but a really light coating .. for the leather handles i`m creating a video ... so if you can wait a while you will see it ... but it is simple process.

Now I thinking of buying a new one. And top veneer is Koto wood. Some pll wrote that you can not use water based glue. What would you recommend, please?
water based glue is ok .. there is no problem ... it softens the touch ... but it is all on personal preferences

I meant veneer wood pattern should be cut on parallel to a long side of the blade? I had received my order from some company and had to return, because it did not look right to me.
@@mariadalee3277 in some special cases they do not have to be parallel ... but it depends on blade structure ..
